9Pies surfing and the environment

Surfing and the natural environment are closely related, and at 9Pies surf school and camps we are aware of this. Our playground is the beach itself and we all need to work together to get to know it better, keep it clean and protect it, especially in such an unspoilt area as El Palmar.
We try to avoid contamination as best we can during our activities, and to educate our students and especially the youngest ones about our role in environmental conservation through our habits and behaviour.

We collaborate with organisations such as the Surfrider Foundation and Respect the Sea to spread their message and keep the beaches clean by making our activities sustainable and respecting the natural environment.
