Surf spots in Cádiz
Cádiz is the southernmost province in Europe and a region of exceptionally beautiful natural landscapes, steeped in a long and rich history. Within this province, you can find some of the best surf spots in Spain.
While there are other surf spots in towns like La Línea, Rota, El Puerto de Santa María, Chiclana, and the city of Cádiz itself, which offer excellent sessions under the right conditions and boast vibrant local surf communities, we'd like to focus on the area where 9Pies primarily operates. This region maintains a more pristine natural environment. The journey from Conil to Tarifa takes just 45 minutes by car, and along the way, you'll pass through picturesque landscapes dotted with the characteristic local Retinta cows. This route also takes you through El Palmar, the location of our surf school and the hub of the surfing scene in Andalusia. El Palmar is renowned for its frequent waves, and the journey continues through Barbate, another notable spot for surf enthusiasts.
Cádiz, with its stunning coastline and abundant surf opportunities, is a destination where the beauty of nature and the excitement of surfing come together to create an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a seasoned surfer or a novice, this province has something to offer, making it a must-visit location for anyone looking to enjoy the best of both worlds: incredible waves and a rich cultural history.
